Tax Filing

Accurate, on-time tax filing that keeps your business compliant and penalty-free.

What It Is / Who Needs It

Every registered business in the Philippines corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietors alike is required to file national tax returns with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This isn't optional or size-dependent: once you receive your BIR Certificate of Registration, you're considered a registered taxpayer and must file returns even during periods with zero income or expenses.

Key Deadlines to Know

BIR forms required commonly include 1702, 1701, 2550M, 2550Q, 1601C, 1601E, and 2307. Some deadlines that matter most for most businesses
April 15 is the deadline for Annual Income Tax Returns (Forms 1700, 1701, 1701A, 1702-RT), while April 25 covers Q1 VAT (2550Q) and Percentage Tax (2551Q) returns

Monthly withholding remittances are due on the 10th of the following month

25%

Missing a BIR deadline results in a 25% surcharge on the tax due, 12% annual interest, and a compromise penalty ranging from ₱200 to ₱50,000 depending on the case and repeated non-compliance can escalate into a formal BIR audit. Staying current isn't just about avoiding fines; it protects your business's standing when applying for loans, permits, or working with corporate clients who require proof of good tax standing.
Why it matters

Never miss a filing deadline again
